What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is made of tiny particles of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) in a smooth gel. It does two jobs. The gel gives some immediate support where it is placed, and the particles activate the skin's regenerative processes, boosting collagen, elastin and other key proteins. Over the following months, skin becomes firmer, more elastic and healthier-looking from the inside out.
Where Trisha uses it
- Neck. Horizontal neck lines and crêpey skin, one of the hardest areas to treat with anything else.
- Décolletage. Lined, sun-damaged skin on the chest.
- Hands. Thin skin where veins and tendons show more with age.
- Face. Contour and structure, and skin quality in diluted form.
Depending on the area and goal, Radiesse may be used as it is, or diluted and spread more widely to improve skin quality rather than add volume. Trisha will explain which approach suits you.
What to expect
Your consultation covers your medical history and goals. On the day, the area is cleansed and treated with fine injections or a cannula; the product contains a local anaesthetic for comfort. Mild swelling, redness or bruising can last a few days. Results continue to improve as new collagen forms, and can last up to around 18 months depending on your skin and lifestyle.
"Neck wrinkles be gone with Radiesse" is one of Trisha's favourite before-and-afters. The neck and décolletage are where it really shines.
Radiesse, Sculptra or a skin booster?
All three improve skin over time. Radiesse gives some instant support plus collagen stimulation. Sculptra builds collagen more slowly across larger areas. Skin boosters focus on hydration rather than structure. Many clients combine them across a year, and Trisha can plan that with you.
Price
Trisha's recent Radiesse offer was €250. Your exact price depends on the area and amount, and is confirmed at consultation.
